The Pentax Zoom-70 (aka the IQZoom) from circa 1986 is the inaugural model of the long-running IQZoom/Espio series of high-end zoom point-and-shoots.

This camera was given a glowing review in the March 20, 1987 Washington Post by directory of photography, Carl Kramer:

THIS WEEK I'd like to tell you about a new and very special camera, the Pentax IQZoom. Of all the compact cameras I've tested in the past 18 months, this is the one I like best by far.
Three of us have put a lot of film through the IQZoom over the past few months: 16 rolls of negative color, five rolls of black and white and five of transparency.
...
I've taken pictures while sight-seeing, in my back yard and at business, civic and political meetings. I was delighted with the results -- even snow scenes, day or night, came out fine.
....
The suggested manufacturer's price for the IQZoom is about $275; it's worth every cent!

The camera requires either 4 ordinary AAA alkaline batteries (not included) or a CR-P2 lithium battery (available as an option). For most people we recommend just using ordinary AAA batteries, as they're more economical and we couldn't detect much difference in flash recharge time. The optional date imprinting mode requires a CR2025 lithium battery but there's little point to using it as the calendar only goes up to 2009.

Condition notes
The camera's functions were tested with batteries and a roll of film (the film was not developed). All modes are working correctly; we verified the camera's lens and film plane focus accuracy with an autocollimator. The camera and included case are in very good cosmetic condition (see photos).
