Pentax Optio L50 8 megapixel digicam w/ 2GB SD card + battery + charger (serial 9501125)

The Pentax Optio L50 is a very compact digicam from 2008. This camera features an 8MP CCD sensor and a 36-180mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens. The zoom range is quite impressive for a camera of its diminutive size; it's composed of 8 elements in 6 groups (with 4 aspherical elements).

Pentax (confusingly!) had earlier models called the Optio 50 and Optio 50L. So if you're trying to research this camera make sure to type 'Pentax Optio L50' correctly.

• 2 GB SD card
• Pentax D-L178 battery pack (the battery pack charged in our testing but we can't guarantee its capacity. For serious use we strongly recommend buying a new spare D-L178 as they are widely available and inexpensive. 
• Universal battery charger (this allows charging by power outlet or car cigarette lighter)
