The Pentax Espio 160 (called the IQZoom 160 in some countries) featured the longest zoom (38-160mm) of any compact 35mm camera in the world when it was released in 1996. But more importantly, it's a good lens coupled with a well designed autofocus and easy-to-use controls.Â
While it's very much a auto-everything point-and-shoot in its default 'A' mode, the Espio 160 also offers several advanced features like multiple exposures and the ability to switch between spot and five-point auto-focus.
Battery info
This camera requires a CR123 battery (available as an option).
Condition notes
We film tested this camera and the photos were sharp and correctly exposed. We also verified the camera's true film plane focus accuracy with an autocollimator and confirmed its autoexposure accuracy with calibrated light and shutter tester. The camera and its original case are in very good condition (see photos).
