Olympus Infinity SuperZoom 330 35mm film camera (serial 1402739)
Olympus Infinity SuperZoom 330 35mm film camera (serial 1402739)
Released in 1990, the Olympus Infinity SuperZoom 330 (called the SuperZoom AZ-330 in some countries) is the more refined follow-up to the acclaimed Infinity Zoom 300/AZ 300 from two years. It's an exemplary 'bridge camera', combining point-and-shoot ease of use with the lens quality and many of the advanced features typically found in SLRs. It was quite an expensive camera when new, this Popular Mechanics review listed the price as $610US (that'd be $1,382.28 in 2022 US dollars!).
One of our favourite features of this camera is its very user-friendly double exposure mode.
The camera requires two CR123A lithium batteries for power (available as an add-on).
Condition notes
This camera was tested with a battery and film roll installed (the film was not developed) and all functions are working perfectly. We verified its film plane focus accuracy and lens performance on an autocollimator (it shows excellent sharpness). Its cosmetic condition is also very good (see photos). The original lens cap/remote control is included and is currently triggering the shutter (the remote batteries are not easily user replaceable so it is not covered in our guarantee).
