Nikon F-801s SLR w/50mm f1.8 AF Nikkor lens
Nikon F-801s SLR w/50mm f1.8 AF Nikkor lens
The Nikon S-801S is an advanced 35mm film SLR from the early '90s with manual or autofocus; a choice of manual, aperture priority, shutter priority or three different program exposure modes. The included AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8 is a very sharp lens with lovely bokeh. This is a superb camera and lens combination for demanding art photography, offering many advanced features (like double exposure, multiple program modes, depth of field preview, etc.) and a very accurate light meter.
It is powered by 4 normal AA batteries (not included). Unlike many other film cameras, F-801S permits the use of rechargeable batteries (are we highly recommend them, especially if the camera is to be used in cold weather).
Options
If you choose '+ film', you'll also receive a 24 exposure roll of Fujicolor 200 film.
Condition notes
The camera and lens are in very good aesthetic condition (see photos). The most noteworthy flaw is that the paint for the ISO button on the top of the camera is somewhat faded from use. The included ever-ready case (not pictured) is in very worn condition with significant peeling. The camera and lens are working perfectly. We tested using film and were very pleased with the results.
