Minolta Freedom Zoom Explorer EX 35mm camera w/ case (serial 35104509)

The Minolta Freedom Zoom Explorer EX (called the Riva Zoom 75W in some countries) is one of our favourite 35mm zoom point-and-shoot designs--both in terms of looks and features.

This quality 35mm camera offers a very handy zoom range from 28-75mm. The camera is well appointed with features (including its very nice lens with two aspherical elements) and has a very elegant industrial design (the retracting lens cover and swivel-up flash are very retro-futurist). 

This camera is a subtle update to the also-great Freedom Explorer/Riva Zoom 70W, the primary difference being a lens redesign that gives slightly more zooming range.

Battery info

The camera requires a CR123A lithium battery (optional).

Condition notes

The camera's functions were tested with batteries and a roll of film (the film was not developed). All modes are working correctly. The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition (see photos). We confirmed the film plane focus accuracy using an autocollimator. A Minolta case is included (but in somewhat worn condition).
