Note: the film test photos are a bit grainier than usual because we goofed up and set the wrong film speed. We verified the camera's exposure meter with test instruments.

The Minolta AF-S Quartz Auto Focus D is a quality 35mm point-and-shoot from the 1980s. This is the same camera as the better-known Minolta 'Talker' without the goofy synthesized voice. 

The AF-S features a sharp 35mm f2.8 lens, an electronic self-timer, and a flash that only fires if you switch it on (a favorite feature of ours). 

The film speed is manually set from ISO 25 to ISO 1000 by a dial around the lens. Please note that in our film and auto-exposure testing we found the exposure more accurate when the film speed was set one click slower than box speed. (For reference, we were way off for our film test, the film used was ISO 200 Vision 3 200T and we had the camera set at ISO 1000).
