Konica FS-1 35mm film SLR camera w/Hexanon AR 50mm f1.7 lens (serial 423763) | film🎞tested
With its integrated motor drive* and electronic exposure control, the Konica FS-1 was a revolutionary 35mm SLR when it was released in 1979. It remains a very capable and fun camera to use today.
* Rewinding is manual on the FS-1.
This is a later production FS-1 using the most reliable circuit design (its serial is 423763; according to Konica Files the third and final iteration began with serial 420000). It includes a very sharp Konica Hexanon 50mm F1.7 lens.
This camera requires four AA alkaline batteries (not included). Rechargeable or lithium batteries cannot be used with this camera.
Condition notes
This camera and lens are both in very good cosmetic condition (see photos) with only minor wear from use. The battery holder was repaired. There are a couple small specks of dust in the viewfinder (does not affect photos).
All functions are working correctly. We film tested the camera and lens combo and got sharp, correctly exposed images. In addition, we calibrated the camera's light meter per the service manual and verified it has very good shutter speed accuracy across its entire speed range.
