Zenit E 35mm film SLR camera w/Helios-44M 58mm f2 lens + case (serial 72196749)
Note: As with nearly all Zenit E cameras of its age, the uncoupled light meter is no longer accurate. You'll need to use either the 'sunny 16 rule' or an external light meter.
The Soviet Zenit E had extraordinary production run from 1965 to 1986. It's a simple, sturdy, and relatively compact 35mm SLR. It uses the same M42 mount as Pentax Spotmatics (and many other SLRs) so it's compatible with a wide range of lenses.
This particular camera was made by KMZ in Krasnogorsk (these reportedly have better build quality than those made BelOMO in Minsk).
The included Helios-44M 58mm f2 is a sharp 6-element lens. The Helios 44M has a cult following for its interesting bokeh (out of focus area rendering). A leather 'ever-ready' case is also included.
Condition notes
Apart from the light meter inaccuracy mentioned above, the camera is in very good functional and cosmetic condition (see photos). The shutter speeds has good accuracy (it's about a half stop slow at 1/500, with accuracy improving at slower speeds).
